A letter to …., anyone who can relate to it!

I know life is a mess right now. You are sad and you are in pain, you have everyone but no one to talk about the stuff you are going through you need to know that you are strong, very strong. Believe in yourself, you might not feel it right now but trust me, you are.

You just lost someone who you thought was forever but you need to know that people will come and go, not everyone will live up to your expectations, not everyone will keep all the promises ,they’ll leave in the most unforgettable way, but your scars will heal with time.

Stop crying and and don’t try too hard to keep up a relationship and NEVER doubt on your self worth and know that you don’t need anyone to tell you how great you are because you should already know that, don’t try to spend time trying to impress people who don’t see the good in you.

Your first love might not be your last, your best friend forever and you will break up in the most unexpected way , you might fail your exams ,all those who call themselves your forever will not stay forever with you. We tend to find HOPE in both relationships and people but at some point we need to know that “Hope” is not for everyone and do not blame yourself for that.

You will meet some great people and a few terrible ones too, don’t shut yourself just because things didn’t go well with that one person ,The friends you’ll make in your 20’s will probably be the best and craziest ones. They’ll bring out the best in you and you need to know that you have great friends because you too are a great person, you will make mistakes you’ll fu*k things up ,but who does not? it’s a part of one’s learning process, we learn from our mistakes we just don’t have to repeat them again.

There is no right or wrong way to live your life, do what you want, enjoy, go wild for a while, fall in love, face that first breakup , you are the writer of your own story.

You’ll fall and you’ll hard but one day you’ll understand that all the mistakes , fu*k ups everything when added up made you who you are today and it doesn’t stop. Embrace and appreciate it. Just don’t be in denial, accept the reality and trust me it’s going to be easier and will eventually hurt less.

You’ll fall in love again, you’ll met new people, you’ll find a new best friend and they will love you , may be more than the ones you’ve been with, not everyone is your ex, just don’t be in the state of denial and accept the reality and try and move on with time, don’t be too harsh on yourself.

Be enough positive and confident that you can influence other people too ,because someday you’ll live in constant state of happiness with that one special person and your loved ones, who will be proud of you and nothing seems to be better than that picture.

………just hold on tight, it’s gonna be alright.

With love

MY SUMMER BUCKET LIST.

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog!

I do plan on being regular with my blog posts from now on, like YAASS! I really hope you like this one.

No doubt summer is the most relaxing time of the year, long vacations and sleeping all day (talking about myself, haha). I know we all make a lot of plans so as to what we want to accomplish before summer hits or even new year (remember the resolutions you made for the new year?), but often times we never really accomplish any of those things. I realised that putting things down and making a list might help. So, summer is here and it’s the perfect time to work on developing some skills, being more social and do anything you love, especially for college/school peeps (It’s summer vacation time!, yayyyyy). Personally, I’m someone who love napping and watching netflix all day, and then I end up hating myself for not doing things I wished I did. My goals for this summer are kind of little things that usually get ignored in the busy routine, things that would make me really happy :). So, i have decided to share my list with with you all, because, why not? also, I will feel more accountable lol. I hope it will inspire you to make one for yourself too. (Happy kid face).

Here’s my bucket list for this summer:

  1. Go on a shopping spree with friends.
  2. Pamper day with mom.
  3. Read an entire book series (Yet to decide which one, any suggestions?).
  4. Try out new hair and make-up looks (I plan to share those with you! God I am so excited!).
  5. Watch Lord of Rings trilogy.
  6. Organize my room (lol, this should really be a regular).
  7. Do tons of hair and face masks (nourish that beautiful skin!).
  8. Learn to make new dishes (I love trying new dishes, I hope making them is fun too! Any suggestions on what I should start with?)
  9. Challenge myself to be healthier. (Grr, I end up eating a lot of junk food)
  10. Watch an entire Netflix series in 4 days (I am yet to decide which one).
  11. Try out some DIY’s (I’ll share everything I make with ya’ll)
  12. Go to Trampoline Park, Bowling and Paintball.
  13. Movie nights with siblings. (This is so much fun!)
  14. Summer and waterparks make a great combo, so a picnic maybe, I am yet to figure the details out. (chuckles)

I will do my best to keep you guys updated with where I am at on the list and the stuff I did. I am sooooooo excited!

Do share your summer to-dos in the comments and let me know any blog suggestions that you have!

PS – Next post coming soon 😉

Until next time,

xoxo

MY HAIR CARE ROUTINE

Hey Ya’ll!

Welcome to my first blog ever, I am so excited that I am doing this!

So, many people have asked me about my hair care routine and the products I use, so here it is!

First thing, let’s be honest, we are all busy, I really wish that my hair were just effortlessly awesome, but that’s not the case and following a routine is damn hard. But, I love my long hair and follow my routine to the best I can.

  1. OILING

I have kind of dry hair and love to give my head a good oil massage a few hours before I wash my hair and that’s usually only possible over the weekend. I hate going out with oily hair, so, when I need to wash my hair during the week, I try to get some oil the night before.

I use coconut oil, it deals with split ends, nourishes hair and works best for me. A nice massage with some warm coconut oil, or any hair oil is so relaxing and improves blood flow in the scalp.

  1. HAIR WASH

I wash my hair almost twice a week, I wish I could do it more often but I have long hair and it takes forever to dry and I hate dealing with wet hair when I have to leave the house early. Also, my hair feels too dried out if I wash them too often.

3.SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

Time for the big reveal haha, I use Sunsilk shampoo and Schwarzkopf professional hair masque, it works good with my hair. I know there are so many options to choose from but stick to whatever works best for your hair type.

  • Steps to shampoo and condition your hair for best results- at least for me 😉 !

Step 1:  Take generous amount of shampoo, mix it well with water and pour it on your head and and spread it until it lathers and you know the oil’s gone. I usually only shampoo my scalp and not the hair length if I skipped oiling, this helps to not dry out my hair too much. Wash off the shampoo well and make sure that the entire product is out because it damages your hair otherwise. It’s a pain in winters but I wash my hair with cold/not too hot water, this helps to lock the moisture, basically, avoid getting as much heat as you can.

Step 2: Before applying conditioner or masque, I towel dry my hair just enough so the extra water is soaked up because conditioning dripping wet hair drains away the product. For my long hair, I divide it in two equal sections and apply the masque/ conditioner starting from the ends and make my way closer to the scalp for both sections. Avoid using conditioner on the scalp and roots as it can clog your follicles and slow hair growth and can even cause hair fall.

Step 3: I like to leave in the conditioners for a few mins for that extra hydration whenever I can, so, after applying the masque/conditioner, I tie my hair and leave them so for some 7 to 10 minutes for the conditioner to work its magic. Then I wash my hair until the product is completely out of my hair.

4: AFTER WASH

If I have enough time, I let my locks chill and take it’s time to dry, otherwise I use a hair dryer on a low heat setting. Pro tip while using a hair dryer- start with cold dry and increase the heat as your hair start to dry, this doesn’t much damage. Throwing high heat on wet hair is a big no no, I personally like my hair to be dried enough so I can manage them.

Try not to comb in wet dripping hair and use a wide tooth comb to detangle.

5: HEAT?

I straighten/blow dry/curl my hair occasionally, because we all want those different looks and make a statement, but I try to not do it very often, and whenever I do, I use heat protection lotion/serum so it doesn’t damage my hair too much. My natural hair is wavy and I usually keep it as it is.

6: TRIMS

I know that most of you think that regular trimming helps in increasing hair growth but it didn’t please me enough so going against this popular belief, I go for trims in like once in 5-6 months or when I feel that the ends are very damaged or thin.

7: HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

If you are healthy inside, it reflects out on your skin and hair. I try to eat healthy, have lots of fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water. Drinking a good amount of water every day is very important for healthy skin and hair. Pro Tip: always carry a water bottle, you won’t believe it but you will end up drinking more water than you would otherwise.

That’s all folks!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Hit me up with any thoughts, suggestions or questions you might have in the comments section.

Until next time,

Xoxo.
